In order to ensure the information base for Pillar concerning the current and perspective trends in PV – industry and for realization of new technology projects the Development Department was established.
Among department’s work directions is the analysis of applied technologies, evaluation of their prospectives, efficiency and implementation complications; production assistance in decision of analytical issues and data processing on production process.
Development department carries out a search and detailed study of new perspective trends, makes calculations and information analysis, information support of innovative projects, and also direct participation in elaboration of new technologies.
Department prepares experiments for elucidation of perspectivity of new trends in technology and production optimisation.
The Development Department accompanies international projects, Pillar participates; this means ensuring of work schedule, the analysis of received results and its discussion with partners.
Pillar has the R&D Department, which involved well-qualified specialists in physics and chemistry areas, having progressive practice in and knowledge of Si ingots, wafers and solar cells manufacturing.
R&D Department is involved in improvement and perfection of current production technologies, development of new technology and new product types. The research and development work of the department is aimed at improvement of the quality of silicon ingots and wafers, and also at usage of new and alternative sorts of raw materials and at development and tests of new kinds of the equipment.
